Dr. Thompson graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed his residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1998. He joined Northeast Ob/Gyn Associates that same year. He became board certified in 2001.
